![]() Healing the soul will provide you with a 'healed soul' and a certain amount of sin shards, the latter dependent on the given soul and how many functional extensions were in use (max of 7). This will provide you with a 'damaged soul', which you then take (sooner the better) to the *Soul Healer* workstation. Instead, you may take the corpse (sooner the better) to the *Soul Extractor* workstation, the first machine in the Souls Room. After a certain amount of time, that soul will degrade and leave behind a 'sin shard' which you then have the option of extracting from the corpse.
